Welcome

Welcome to the Langley Park website, operated by the Langley Park Residents' Association on behalf of the residents.

Langley Park was designed and constructed by Laing Homes and just 10 miles from central London and in a sought-after residential area of Beckenham, the award-winning Langley Park development is located in natural surroundings. Construction commenced late in 1998 and the first residents were celebrating Christmas 1999 in their new homes. The final stages were completed in 2004. The development includes 40 acres of open space offering its residents a private and peaceful lifestyle.

For peace of mind, the development is accessed through a gated, 24 hour manned entrance. Other key areas of the development are also monitored by a CCTV system via the security lodge.

Combining architecture inspired by the 19th century 'arts and crafts' movement with the latest technology, the houses on this development benefit from elegant high ceilings throughout yet have truly modern kitchens with a range of integrated appliances. Most homes have been designed with integral network cabling for audio and computer systems. There is a fitness trail through the private woods and parkland and access to The Langley Park Tennis Club.

The development has an active Residents' Association. The LPRA coordinates resident requirements with the management company to ensure that the standards of the infrastructure and open spaces are maintained. Social activities have been well received by residents and more are planned.

Our 24 hour security is second to none.

Two committee members were eye witnesses’ only a couple of weeks to a life threatening emergency at the lodge which was dealt with by Darren Creighton in a totally organised and controlled manner. If it had not been for Darren’s swift action the results could have been fatal and the committee cannot thank him enough for his assistance.

The politeness and ever smiling face of Ian Billerby is always on display and he should be commended for his long standing position with Langley Park.

We must all appreciate how are guards deal with the everyday bombardment of those trying to gain entry to our estate in the hope of easy pickings.

The hours are long and with the chill of winter upon us spare a thought for those that will be there to open and close those gates over the Christmas holidays.

Well Done and keep up the work for 2008.
